Sunshine participated in the medical camp organised by the Inner Wheel club of Noida. The camp was organised in the Sector 50 community centre.
Most of our after school support group children went through the checkup. Two children - Ravi & Deepak were diagnosed with Tympanic membrane perforation (hole in their ear drum) and were advised an operation at the earliest to avoid repeated infections and further damage .
For the two children with the tympanic membrane perforation, the final diagnosis was done by Dr. R.K. Nag of Medcity Clinic at Sector 110. The total expenses were as follows:
However after the discussion from our end, Dr. R.K. Nag agreed to waive off the surgeon fee along with the facility charges of the clinic. In effect the operation would be done for a total cost of INR 14000 for two children.
