Model Village Program (MVP)

​Sunshine Society since its inception (June 3, 2013) has been making a difference in the society. One of the first initiatives was started by launching the Sponsored Education Program (SEP) where all the children of the helpers/support staff who did not go to school were enrolled in the school near to their place of residence. Thus started the visit to the nearby villages to identify schools. In the process we realized that the villages were largely neglected and due to the apathy of the authority, villagers and the residents, they are turning into slums.
In times when we are becoming global citizens and India being on a path to becoming a super power, it is very disheartening to see the villages of Noida turning into slums due to sheer lack of planning and attention to them. We, as educated and more exposed citizens, and who get to see the deterioration, have a responsibility to address this issue. Keeping this in mind, we started to understand the structure of Noida and the reason for this state of the villages.
