About Us

Sunshine Society was Founded in June 2013 with 11 women members from all walks of life including Doctor, Lawyer, Chartered Accountant, Social Workers, and IT Professionals. Currently Sunshine Society includes 6 life members and 21 Annual members.

• Sunshine Society represents seven different states in India: Delhi, Haryana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
• All founding members are employed professionals and do work with Sunshine on an honorary basis.
• Sunshine Society is also 12A and 80G certified.

The USP of Sunshine is massive civic engagement which makes it possible to make a visible difference and provide support to the society where we live.

The diversity of community groups and individuals within its fold allows for multi dimensional ideas to grow to reach out to causes that it espouses.

The ongoing effort to empower citizens to create positive social change is clearly articulated in its approach towards fund raising methods. The effort is to make people realise that contributing to society also benefits the self, as it does the focus groups thus improving social capital and also empowering a culture of participation.
