“Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress and working together is success.”
The spirit of celebrating togetherness, sharing happiness with others and spreading joy is the philosophy with which Sunshine Society works…
2ndDecember, 2018 was the day marked to “Celebrate 5 years of Togetherness” at Sunshine Society during the 6thAnnual Event. The vibrant spirit could be seen everywhere with children and seniors enjoying and interacting together. The event which was held in Amphitheatre, Meghdootam Park, Sector 50, Noida became lively with the infectious energy of our member and charming anchor for the day, Ramita Taneja. Her words “Hello Sunshine” echoed everywhere and kept the audience captivated throughout the event.
The event saw participation of more than 500 children and seniors from Noida and Indirapuram. Special thanks to members Shalini Chauhan & Dr. Suchitra Jain who organized and coordinated smooth and safe pick and drop of children and their parents from Indirapuram to the venue in Noida.

Both the performances were choreographed by our volunteer Amanpreet Kaur from Mahagun Maestro, Noida and she was assisted by volunteer Himani Gupta from Alok Vihar 2, Noida.
Children from After school centre, sector 51, presented a dance performance on the theme “Save Trees” with melodious and touching lyrics “Na kato mujhe..dukhta hai”. The performance was choreographed by volunteers Jyoti Malik and Nishu Garg from Mahagun Maestro.
The show stopper of the event was a performance by the senior citizens on “Stages of happiness” choreographed by volunteer Amanpreet. Lot of hard work and dedication had gone in the preparation of all the programmes and the results were quite visible during the Annual Event… with each program well coordinated and choreographed to the best.
When the day is so beautiful and happening… the members are equally excited and they were because came in the Flash mob where they along-with the children danced and rejoiced on the humming beats of “itti si hansi… itti si khushi” and “love you zindagi” encouraging the audience to join in and celebrate the spirit of togetherness!!!
