Joining the Noida authority’s green drive today at Gulshan Vivante, sector 137, Noida, the children with a lot of enthusiasm planted trees and shrubs in the areas earmarked by the horticulture department.
Any event that is done by understanding, planning and passion for our own good is sure to bring about the result.
Started and egged on by Vinod Agarwal of sector 50 who allures with great regularity in his detailed mails, mentioning the nice flowering landscapes in our environment as a result of planting trees and shrubs, Vidya took a leaf from there and organized a tree plantation drive in sector 137 outside Gulshan Vivante. Enthusiastically supported by Nupur, Vini, Shuchita, Pavleena, Ashish and Anup.
Horticulture department deputed Yogesh who coordinated with S.N. Chaudhary of Gulshan Vivante and the result was professionally dug up areas ready with shrubs and trees and also fertilizer for children to work magic with their little hands.
Little hands were many with an enthusiasm that was infectious. 24 little ones, planted “Calendra” shrubs and “Pilkhan” trees. We now look forward to nice green shady trees and beautiful red flowers on the shrubs and also to continuing the drive in the following weekends with planting “Neem” and “Gulmohar” trees.
